The trailer launch of Khel Khel Mein witnessed an unexpected gesture from the film's director, Mudassar Aziz. Amidst the excitement surrounding the upcoming release, Aziz extended a warm welcome to the competition, particularly Stree 2.

The film, starring Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and others, is set to clash with Stree 2 and Vedaa on Independence Day. However, instead of viewing it as a battle, Aziz spoke about the importance of a thriving Hindi film industry.

“First of all, we all are a part of Hindi cinema. That’s the point. A festive weekend is coming. I don't look at it as us against them. I love Amar Kaushik, I have great respect for the work he does. I want both our films to do well. I want Hindi films to do well. We have to work hard to make our industry prosperous, when a festive weekend like that comes, we should ask our audiences to come in. I gave them a shoutout,” he said.

The director’s sportsmanlike spirit was further evident in the trailer itself. A subtle yet impactful shoutout to Stree 2 was included in the final ten seconds, with a quote reading, "Stree Aur Purush Dono Dekhein."
