Kareena Kapoor Khan believes The Buckingham Murders features one of her “most powerful performances”
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up for the release of the thriller-mystery film The Buckingham Murders, and she believes it features one of her most powerful performances. In a recent interview with Forbes India, Kareena shared her excitement about the project and the unique aspects that set it apart.
Expressing her passion for the crime drama and thriller genre, Kareena shared, “I think I did this film as a producer, lent my name because like I've said to everyone that I've always been a huge fan of the crime drama world, the thriller world. Always wanted to do something which was slightly different. I think it's a coming together of a lot of cultures. We're speaking English, Hindi, Punjabi in the film. It's something that's shot very differently. It's a small film, we will release it. It's a limited release because obviously, it's not a commercial, typical.”
She further added, “I think it's one of my most powerful performances and I would really want everybody to watch it once for what the film is, and I'm sure they won't be disappointed.”
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Jaane Jaan, sharing the screen with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The actress is set to appear in Rhea Kapoor's upcoming project, The Crew, where she will be joined by stellar co-stars Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh. Furthermore, Kareena Kapoor's film The Buckingham Murders had its premiere at the opening night of the MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai earlier this year, further cementing her presence in the world of cinema.
