Inside Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s engagement: Singer Mika Singh performs, Priyanka Chopra Jonas meets Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal
For the past few weeks, news reports have been abuzz with the relationship rumours about Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha as well as their engagement that was to be held in the capital this month. Confirming the same, the couple got engaged in a lavish ceremony at the Kapurthala Palace in New Delhi on May 13, Saturday, amidst friends and family. The guestlist was a star studded one with big names from the film industry like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Manish Malhotra, singer Mika Singh and Indian politics like Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwat Mann, among others attending the event.
Readers would be aware that post the engagement ceremony last evening, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha came out to greet the media who were waiting outside to catch a glimpse of the betrothed couple. Followed by a post shared by them on social media announcing their engagement, many other photos and videos have found its way on social media. One of them is that of Mika Singh performing on the song, ‘Gal Mithi Mithi Bol’ (Aisha) and joining him on the stage was also the newly engaged couple.
Another series of photos featured the guests mingling with each other as well as giving their blessings to the couple. One of them had Priyanka Chopra Jonas interacting animatedly with the Delhi Chief Minister and head of AAP Party, Arvind Kejriwal. In another video, Parineeti and Raghav cannot keep their hands off each other as Parineeti is seen humming the song ‘Maahi’ from her film Kesari.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were seen wearing tones of white and off-white and their grand traditional ensembles were designed by Manish Malhotra and Pawan Sachdev respectively. The couple exchanged rings last evening and as for the wedding, the couple is expected to tie the knot by the end of October 2023.
