Every week, everyone from TV personalities to Bollywood stars makes public appearances dressed to the nines. However, sometimes what they refer to as fashion ends up being a major catastrophe. While many celebrities show up in their most stylish attire of the day, there are always a few handfuls that fall flat and we're here for it! KIARA ADVANI

 

 

Kiara made stunning statement for promotions of her upcoming film Jugjugg Jeeyo in an ivory saree from designer Amrita Thakur's clothing line. She wore a corset-style top with a deep sweetheart neckline over a saree. It had embellishments all over in diagonal rows of golden and silver sequins, giving it a unique appearance. Kiara parted her hair to the side and styled it in free waves while wearing it down. For her immaculate make-up, she chose a glossy shade of lipstick, defined brows, curled lashes, lots of highlighter. Her look is accented with a pair of striking jhumkas. In front of a wall, Kiara struck several appealing stances outside, making the day appear even hot.

 

NORA FATEHI

 

     

 

Nora wore the most recent and coolest release, a tea-length 'Fendace' dress for recent episode of Dance Deewane Juniors. It was embellished with crystals and had a mix of black and yellow riveting patterns that merged to form a spread of Versace's characteristic baroque design and Fendi's emblem. Fendace hardware with a greca border, medusa head, and FF motif was also included on the one-shoulder cum strapped sleeveless ensemble. Nora's Rs. 1.36 lakh dress featured a slit at the back, there's always that definition of edgy in all of her outfits. We saw the uniform code of Fendace being carried to seal off her day's look as her Rs. 1.23 lakh pointed-toe pumps were picked from Fendi by Versace capsule collection. We also saw gold glam with hoop earrings, necklace, chain-link bracelets, and a handcuff accessory. Her hair was tied into a high ponytail with tendrils left. Her matte makeup included a pink pout, black eyeliner, and cheeks prettied up with heaps of blush.

 

MALAIKA ARORA

 

 

Malaika Arora posted a few photos of herself posing in a backless golden gown on her official Instagram account on Thursday and she looked stunning. Her gown is from the shelves of Rat & Boa's racks. With a halter neck, cowl neck, and figure-skimming cut, the vintage-inspired dress is undoubtedly turning heads. The maxi-length dress has an oversized tie closure and is composed of liquid metallic. Her gown is worth Rs. 16,804. She has accessorised her look with a cluster of necklaces, bracelets and rings. Keeping her makeup game on point with nude shade lipstick, she opted for defined brows and kohl-rimmed eyes. The actress has left her hair open

 

SARA ALI KHAN

 

 

Sara was seen wearing a bright yellow midi wrap dress for a magazine shoot. Her dress comes from the shelves of Maison D’angelann. It features a plunging neckline accentuating Sara's décolletage with its noodle straps. The wraparound bodice of the dress has a ruffle accent affixed. The dress' smocked waist emphasizes her defined waist without sacrificing comfort. The hem of the dress is delicately adorned with ruffled edges. The dress features a thigh-high slit which is assisting Sara to flaunt her toned legs. Her dress is worth Rs. 42,937. Sara finally added a pair of eye-catching gold chain link bracelets and rings to finish the look. A clean low bun with a centre part and few face framing strands was among the simple makeup selections. Winged eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, pink eyelids, berry pink lips, dewy skin, and a rosy glow were among her glam options.

 

JANHVI KAPOOR

 

 

Janhvi made a stunning appearance promoting her forthcoming movie, Good Luck Jerry. In a blue cut-out dress, the actress looked scorching hot. She chose a vivid sky blue dress with cu-outs on one shoulder that effortlessly elevates her movie promotion look to the top. Her long blue sleeve on the other side matches the contrasting blue on the strappy side. The dress has a contrasting black bra detail, split that reach the thigh, and cut-outs with tulle inserts. Her outfit is from David Koma's racks and is priced at £896. (Rs. 85,388). Janhvi Kapoor dressed it up by pairing it with a slinky black pair of heels..

 

MISSES OF THE WEEK:

 

TEJASSWI PRAKASH

 

 

The actress is quite attractive; however, we weren’t onboard with her wardrobe choice. She is making strong case in favour of vivid colours in a corset-style dress. The dress had an asymmetrical pattern, one shoulder, and a sheer corset bodice. The dress’ silhouette does not flatter Tejasswi's frame, and her white heels and makeup look a little odd. Additionally, the dress appears to be not ironed, which is disappointing.

 

NUSHRRATT BHARUCCHA

 

 

It's a floral story gone wrong when the actress was spotted promoting Janhit Mein Jaari. The outfit was unappealing. The busy print distracts from everything else making it a miss.
