Gauahar Khan takes indirect dig at Rakhi Sawant over Umrah trip: “I wonder how a drama-hungry person gets..."

Rakhi Sawant's recent trip to Mecca to perform Umrah has been mired in controversy, with many accusing her of using the religious act as a publicity stunt. Gauahar Khan has also weighed in on the matter, taking an indirect dig at Rakhi in a social media post.

In her post, Khan talked about how faith should remain in the heart and doesn't require cameras for validation. She also criticized Rakhi's behavior, saying that she was "making a joke" out of the holy pilgrimage.

 

"N then there are losers taking Islam for granted n making a joke out of this holy pilgrimage which is sooooooo sacred to believers of Islam," Khan wrote. "I wonder how a drama-hungry person gets to visit and use it to create more drama ???"

 

Khan further added that she wished a board of Islam in India or Saudi Arabia would take strict action against such publicity stunts. She also said that wearing an abaya does not make someone a Muslim and that true faith comes from the heart.

 

 

Rakhi's Umrah trip has been met with mixed reactions from the public. Some people have defended her right to practice her religion as she sees fit, while others have criticized her for her behaviour.
