EXCLUSIVE: “Karan Johar embodies everything that Bollywood is all about” – says Sidharth Malhotra
Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has come a long since his debut in Student Of The Year. The film released in October 2012 and the actor will complete 10 years on October 19. Along with him, two other actors made their debut – Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt – who will also celebrate their decades in the film industry, respectively. The film was helmed by Karan Johar. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor reflected on his 10 years in the industry, and his career and made some interesting revelations.
During the rapid-fire round, when asked about the one thing to learn from Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra said, “I think the way Karan handles the business. I think Karan Johar embodies everything that Bollywood is all about. I think one thing I to learn from him is movie business, star business.”
After being launched in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year, Sidharth Malhotra would in several Dharma Productions’ projects including Hasee Toh Phasee, Brothers, Ittefaq, and Baar Baar Dekho. He is also doing their next franchise Yodha.
On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Ajay Devgn-starrer Thank God, which also features Rakul Preet Singh. The film releases on October 25, 2022. He also has Mission Majnu with Rashmika Mandanna, Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna and Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force with Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi. All projects are slated for 2023 release, respectively.
