Ekta Kapoor praises Smriti Irani- Ronit Roy: Discuss ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2’ with Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar
Ekta Kapoor is all set to comeback with Bade Achhe Lagte Hain season 2, with previous lead actors Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor. The producer shared her idea of coming back with the project, the reason of making it and more in a zoom with the lead cast.
According to Ekta, “Though BALH will stay Sakshi and Ram for me, moving ahead 10 years, there’s a whole generation, who are not aware of urban loneliness in the 30s is a thing. This is an attempt to make a soft, urban story.”
When Sakshi and Ram, excitedly ask about the lead actors, Ekta says, “The girl looks as pretty as you Sakshi but the boy looks nothing like you Ram. “To which Ram asks if the new lead is as big as him, Sakshi adds “The whole point of the show was Ram. “The conversation then continues with “There was a very important character in the basic plotline of Bade and that is Ram’s stomach. Does the new lead have the big stomach?” to which everybody breaks into laughter.
Ekta then praises Smriti Irani and Ronit Roy’s performance on TV, along with Sakshi and Ram saying-“I have worked with many actors but I can never match Sakshi, Smriti (Irani), Ram and Ronit’s (Roy) level.”
According to reports, Nakuul Mehta will reunite with Pyaar ka Dard co-star Disha Parmar in the second season.
