David Dhawan signs newcomer Taapsee for Chashme Baddoor remake
David Dhawan has always been known for his comic films, and come August, he will be going on floors with the remake of the Sai Paranjpe film Chashme Baddoor. David's version of the film will be more contemporary though. As for the star cast, David has finally found the face he was looking for in Taapsee.
Taapsee, is the former winner of Femina Miss Fresh Face and several other beauty pageants. She has even played the lead in South films, Jhummandi Naadam and Aadukalam.
With David's film, Taapsee will be making her Bollywood debut.
