BTS releases teaser of Map Of The Soul: ON:E concept photobook, watch video

It seems like a lot of content is coming from BTS. The South Korean septet has dropped the teaser for the upcoming Map Of The Soul: ON:E photobook. The release date of the photobook is set for May 24, 2021, and the pre-orders begin on April 22, 2021.

The preview gives glimpses of what can the fans expect from the upcoming photo book. The teaser includes individual shots of seven members - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook from what looks like it was shot last year before the Map Of The Soul: ON:E virtual concert took place. Lastly, the septet comes together in the teaser as you hear 'we are not seven with you' - the lyrics from We Are Bulletproof - Eternal.

 

Along with the teaser, solo pictures from the Clue version (Persona) were released on Weverse social media platform. The photobook comes in two versions - Clue and Route. Both versions include - sleeve + photobook, film card, fold concept paper, fold poster, photocard, and a lenticular card. There's a special version as well which includes Clue and Route - out box, sleeve + photobook, film card, fold concept paper, fold poster, photocard, a lenticular card, postcard, square photo, hologram photocard. In addition, the first limited edition of the seven-member personal poster set gives you a greater view of BTS's pictorials.

 


 



 

On April 21, 2021, the preview cuts from the Route version of the photobook were released. The special set, a sensuous and conceptual experience of BTS that has never been seen before, will be officially released on May 24 after pre-sale from April 22.

 


 


 


 

BTS virtual concert Map Of The Soul: ON:E has connected 993,000 viewers from 191 countries/regions on October 10 and 11, 2020. The septet delivered a total of 23 performances, and for the first time ever, viewers could watch the stages of the b-side tracks of 'Map Of The Soul: 7'. The concert boasted a solid composition and production as well as innovative planning that proved the one-year preparation period paid. Above all, BTS' seven-year growth was prevalent throughout the 150-minute long concert.

 

On April 17, BTS hosted Bang Bang Con 2021 - a relay of their three concerts for 8 hours. The number of peak simultaneous viewers surpassed 2.7 million.

 

A day ago, the Grammy-nominated group announced a partnership with McDonald's for a special 'BTS Meal' campaign. The rollout is global and includes India in the list of countries to have the special meal.
