Bigg Boss 17: Salman Khan schools Abhishek Kumar over “Duplicate Parineeti Chopra” remark
Salman Khan, the host of Bigg Boss 17, recently expressed his disapproval of Abhishek Kumar's controversial remark directed at Mannara Chopra in the latest episode of the reality show. The war of words between the two contestants escalated when Abhishek Kumar referred to Mannara as 'Parineeti Chopra's duplicate,' provoking a strong reaction from her.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan addressed the ongoing controversy, focusing on Mannara's complaints about Abhishek's remarks. He admonished Abhishek Kumar by stating, "Real life mein jhoote padege."
The actor further added that Abhishek calls himself his fan but he would never behave like this. He pointed out his mistakes in the past week, asking him to mend ways.
The dispute began during an episode where Ankita Lokhande discussed how Mannara strongly reacted when someone compared her to her cousin, actress Parineeti Chopra. Isha Malviya also mentioned an incident when Mannara became defensive about her family. Abhishek, in an attempt to provoke her, continued to refer to Mannara as "duplicate Parineeti Chopra" despite her repeated warnings.
For the unversed, Mannara is the cousin of actresses Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Parineeti Chopra. After the premiere of the show, PeeCee shared a special post wishing her all the luck for Bigg Boss 17. Coming back to the show, this week, 6 contestants are nominated; Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, Khanzaadi, Soniya Bansal, Sana Raees Khan and Sunny Arya.
