Amul pays tribute to Pathaan on its superlative response; see picture

Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan has taken not only the Indian box office but also the nation by storm. Apart from the film marking a superlative comeback for superstar Shah Rukh Khan, it has also been creating box office records abroad. Amid this, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see Amul paying tribute to Pathaan in its unique way.

For those not in the know, Amul, through its product Amul Butter, comes up with cartoons and sketches on topics that are currently trending in India. Their latest ad revolves around the success of the film, which also stars John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana.

 

The graphic features caricatures of Shah Rukh and Deepika from the film’s title track, ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’. The picture mentions the lyrics as, ‘Jhoome Jo Makkhan’ and the film as ‘Puth Aan Bread.’ Amul shared the picture on its official Twitter page and captioned it, “#Amul Topical: The Badshah of Bollywood makes comeback with blockbuster!”

 

 

 

As soon as the post was shared, fans of SRK and Pathaan flooded the comments section applauding the work of art. One user said, “Was expecting this from Amul,” while another one added, “Ye ad dekhke to hum jhumne lag gaye.”

 

As far as Pathaan’s box office numbers are concerned, the film reached a mammoth total of Rs 307.25 crores nett in India alone till Monday. The Siddharth Anand directorial is also creating records for Bollywood films in North America, Australia and New Zealand.
