Akshay Kumar has been enjoying the success of one of the biggest films of his career 2.0 which stars superstar Rajinikanth. Today, Thalaiva Rajinikanth is celebrating his 68th birthday and receiving tons of love and blessings on social media. On this occasion, Akshay Kumar took to his social media to send his wishes for his latest co-star.

Akshay Kumar shared a photo with Rajinikanth from the trailer launch day in November and wrote on Twitter, "A dream co-star and a legend in every right! You are an epitome of simplicity and it was an absolute honour to work with you. #HappyBirthdaySuperstar @rajinikanth :)"

 

2.0 is a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran (Robot) which earlier starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth’s Dr. Vaseegaran aka Chitti returns in the sequel and faces off Akshay Kumar’s Dr.Richard/Crowman. The film, helmed by S Shankar, has earned Rs 166.75 crore till now in Hindi version.
