Akshay Kumar shares sneak peek of Sanjay Dutt joining Welcome To The Jungle shoot as the franchise completes 16 years

The much-anticipated third chapter of the Welcome franchise, Welcome to the Jungle, has already gone on floors and the actors have even kicked off the shoot schedule of the same. After sharing a glimpse earlier on social media, Akshay Kumar has once again taken to the platform to post another sneak peek, this time, featuring Sanjay Dutt. Furthermore, making this post special is also the fact that the OG film Welcome completed 16 years of its release on December 21.

On Thursday, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a delightful moment from the shoot of Welcome To The Jungle wherein audiences got a glimpse of a unique entry sequence featuring Kumar riding a horse and Dutt looking suave on a bike, setting the stage for a fun actioner on the cards. Furthermore, in the caption, Akshay opened up about how this post coincides with the 16th year of release of Welcome (2007), and wrote, “What a lovely coincidence that we celebrate 16 years of #Welcome today while I am shooting for the franchise’s third part #WelcomeToTheJungle. Speaking of Welcome To The Jungle, the film is expected to feature a massive star-studded cast, which includes Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, and Sayaji Shinde along with Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. The film is expected to be a family entertainment promising audiences to entertain them with joy and laughter.

 

Base Industries Group presents Welcome To The Jungle, produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah and directed by Ahmed Khan, slated for a grand theatrical release in the Christmas week, on December 20, 2024.
