Adipurush producer Bhushan Kumar and actor Devdatta Nage receive praise from Assam CM in pre-release meeting
Adipurush, the highly anticipated film directed by Om Raut, is generating immense excitement among audiences as its release date draws near. The film's trailer and songs have garnered tremendous appreciation from fans, further fueling the anticipation for this epic tale. The Chief Minister of Assam recently met with producer Bhushan Kumar and actor Devdatta Nage, expressing his admiration for the magnum opus and adding to the mounting buzz surrounding the project.
During their meeting, the CM of Assam not only lauded the Adipurush trailer but also emphasized the significance of showcasing our culture to wider audiences, which the film aims to accomplish. He tweeted (translated from Hindi), “Today, I got an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the film Adipurush. To bring the story of Lord Shri Ram to the people is a manifestation of devotion in every endeavour.”
To give a peek into their meeting, the CM of Assam shared two pictures. In one of the photos, Bhushan Kumar and Devdatta Nage were seen posing with Himanta Biswa Sarma along with a Ram-Sita-Lakshman idol.
Directed by Om Raut, the film is a collaborative effort involving T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair Retrophiles, Pramod and Vamsi of UV Creations. Besides Nage, the film features Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as Raghav and Janki, respectively, whereas Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing the antagonist, Lankesh. The ensemble star cast of the film also includes Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth.
Adipurush has been set for June 16, 2023, marking a highly anticipated event in the film industry. However, three days before its release, it will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York.
