Aamir Khan pays tribute to Lagaan co-star Javed Khan Amrohi: 'Your pure heart and positive energy will be dearly missed'

Aamir Khan has mourned the demise of veteran actor Javed Khan Amrohi. The actor passed away at 73 earlier this week. The actor took to his production house's Instagram account to mourn the loss of the actor.

A tribute was posted on the Aamir Khan Productions page which read, "Javed Ji, You never failed to fill the room with joy and warmth. Your pure heart and positive energy will be dearly missed." Aamir Khan worked with the late Javed Khan Amrohi in the cult comedy Andaaz Apna Apna and Lagaan.

 

 

 

Javed Khan Amrohi passed away at the age of 73 due to lung failure. IPTA paid tribute to the late actor and shared a slew of pictures. The caption read, “Javed Khan Amrohi ji was an integral part of IPTA Mumbai. Javed Ji has been a member of the IPTA since 1972, serving as an actor, director, and general secretary for many years. Even after passing out from FTII, his commitment to theatre was constant. We mourn the passing of a wholesome artist. RIP Javed Khan Amrohi ji."

 

 

 

Javed Khan Amrohi was last seen in the 2020 movie Sadak 2 starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. It was helmed by Mahesh Bhatt.
