BO update: Jagga Jasoos has a dull opening with 20% occupancy

 

After the recent release MOM featuring Sridevi was lapped up by the audience, this week viewers see the release of the Anurag Basu directed film JAGGA JASOOS starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Reports state that JAGGA JASOOS that has released across 1800 screens has opened to occupancy rate of just 20% during morning shows. However, considering the length of the film and the fact that it is a musical of sorts, JAGGA JASOOS that has till now been receiving less than appreciative reviews faces a tough time ahead. Compounding the hardship JAGGA JASOOS faces, the Hollywood release WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES that also released today is expected to see growth over evening and night shows.

 

On the whole, despite seeing a slow start the business of JAGGA JASOOS is expected to increase over the weekend. However, the film will have to rely heavily on positive word of mouth to post decent box office figures.
