The Shahid Kapoor – Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh is on a roll. After surpassing trade expectation on its opening day, and the subsequent weeks, the film has managed to make it into its third weekend running.
In this box office analysis we take a look at the third Saturday collections of Kabir Singh while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 7.51 cr Kabir Singh does not manage to out beat the business of the Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri – The Surgical Strike that had collected Rs. 9.86 cr. With this Kabir Singh now ranks as the second highest third Saturday grosser of 2019. On the other hand the collections of Kabir Singh do manage to record better collection figures as compared to other releases like De De Pyaar De that collected Rs. 2.82 cr, Total Dhamaal that collected Rs. 2.76 cr, Badla that collected Rs. 2.65 cr, Kesari that collected Rs. 2.62 cr, Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi that collected Rs. 2.50 cr, Luka Chuppi that collected Rs. 2.25 cr, Gully Boy that collected Rs. 2.10 cr, and Bharat that collected Rs. 1.15 cr.
As of now, Kabir Singh still continues to run in theatres and is expected to cross the Rs. 230 cr mark by the end of its third weekend.
