Box Office: Secret Superstar crosses 100 crores at the China box office

 

The Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar may have released a while back in the domestic market, however across the border in China the film hit screens only recently. Interestingly, the Advait Chandan directed Secret Superstar has enjoyed success similar to the previously released Aamir Khan starrer Dangal that had set new records in China.Box Office: Secret Superstar crosses 100 crores at the China box office

 

However, surpassing the record established by Dangal, Secret Superstar managed to draw in a staggering USD 6.79 million [Rs. 43.35 cr] on its opening day, out beating the previous film’s collections that were USD 2.27 million [Rs. 14.67 cr]. Not, slowing down, on its second day running Secret Superstar has now raked in a further USD 10.49 million [Rs. 66.95 cr] once again surpassing the collections of Dangal that had collected  USD 4.69 million [Rs. 30.30 cr.].

 

While currently the two day gross collections of Secret Superstar within the Chinese market stands at USD 17.35 million [Rs. 110.74 cr]. Interestingly, Secret Superstar has managed surpass the Rs. 100 cr gross mark in the Chinese market in just two days, effectively breaking the record that was established by Dangal that had managed to make it past the Rs. 100 cr gross mark in 4 days of its release in China.

 

As it currently stands, Secret Superstar looks set to surpass the records set by Dangal. In fact, while the previous release had earned Rs. 187.57 cr at the end of its first week in China, Secret Superstar that had already raked in Rs. 110.74 cr looks poised to blow past the Rs. 200 cr mark by the close of its first week.
