In this Box Office report, we compare the big releases of the three Khans (Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman) namely Kick, Dhoom 3 and Chennai Express, taking into consideration their collections over the first week of release.

 

Looking at the collections, Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3, which released during the festive season of Christmas last year and collected Rs. 188.99 crores in the first week, holds the top spot. This is followed by Salman Khan's Eid release of this year, Kick, which has collected Rs. 164.09 crores. One the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express, which also released during Eid last year, witnessed a much lower growth in comparison, collecting Rs. 156.7 crores.

 

Interestingly, Salman's Kick overtakes Chennai Express' business but fails to beat Aamir's Dhoom 3.

 

Also, looking at the day-wise comparison, Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 dominates five out of seven days in the first week, beating the collections of Kick and Chennai Express.
