Box Office: Badhaai Ho surpasses Raid, becomes 9th highest grosser of 2018
The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho that released a while back has been doing rather well at the box office. Directed by Amit Sharma, the film which took off on a high note continued to see good sustenance in collections week after week. With positive audience feedback the business of Badhaai Ho remained more or less stable despite newer releases hitting screens.
Well, now after its third weekend running, Badhaai Ho that entered the Rs. 100 cr club has managed yet another feat. In fact, the business of the film has managed to surpass the collections of the previously released film Raid that had collected Rs. 103.07 cr to claim the ninth spot on the highest grosser list of 2018. Currently pegged at Rs. 104 cr, the business of Badhaai Ho is expected to see further growth in the coming few days. In fact, expectations are that the collections of Badhaai Ho will out beat the collections of the Akshay Kumar starrer Gold that had collected Rs. 104.72 cr today. If that wasn’t enough, given the festive mood, it will not be surprising to see the business of Badhaai Ho climb higher on the list to overtake the collections of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that had collected Rs. 108.95 cr.
However, with the Aamir Khan – Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan slated to hit screens this Diwali, predictions say that the business of Badhaai Ho will take a drastic hit.
