Ever since the metrics of measuring a film’s collections changed and were based on its box office performance rather than the length of time that it ran in cinemas for, we have witnessed film raking in higher and higher box office returns. Thanks to this, earning Rs. 100 crores or even Rs. 200 crores at the box office has now become a norm.

 

However, surpassing most other releases till date is the second part of the SS Rajamouli directed epic Baahubali saga titled Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion. After storming the box office in both the domestic and international markets the film has now managed to achieve yet another milestone. In fact, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion has now after five weeks running become the first ever Indian film to rake in over Rs. 500 crores at the box office.
