Bharat Box Office Collections: Bharat becomes Salman Khan’s 4th highest opening weekend grosser in overseas

The Ali Abbas Zafar directed Salman Khan starrer Bharat released last week on Wednesday across 1250+ screens in the overseas market. After opening with a bang the business of the film saw a steady inflow of collections as the weekend progressed.

In this box office analysis we take a look at the opening weekend collections of Bharat in the overseas markets while comparing the same to Salman Khan’s previous releases. Collecting USD 7 million Bharat has managed to surpass Tiger Zinda Hai that had collected USD 6.75 million to become Salman Khan’s fourth highest opening weekend grosser in the overseas market. Though the business of Bharat does not surpass Salman’s previous releases like Sultan that collected USD 13.73 million, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that collected USD 8.9 million and Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected USD 8 million, Bharat does out beat the actor’s other releases like Race 3 that collected USD 6.61 million, Ek Tha Tiger that collected USD 5.7 million and Bodyguard that collected USD 5.3 million.

 

As of now, Bharat still continues it run unopposed in theatres and is expected to see good growth in overall collections though the week.
