Vivek Oberoi adopts family in Vrindavan

 

Vivek Oberoi is known to be very closely associated with charitable causes. The actor who runs Project DEVI (Development and Empowerment of Vrindavan Girls Initiative) recently adopted a family in Vrindavan after its bread winner died of cancer.

Vivek happened to interact with Shehzad Quereshi who was suffering from cancer during his visit to Vrindavan last year. Shehzad had requested Vivek to take care of his family comprising of his wife and four children in the event of his death.

 

When Shehzad passed away earlier this year, Vivek kept his promise and decided to take care of his whole family. Only recently during his Vrindavan visit, VO along with Sushmita Sen even met and interacted with Shehzad's two daughters. The actor affectionately calls them his 'little angels'.

 

Must say here is one actor who indeed knows how to fulfill a promise- a commitment.
