Actors in the past have often confessed that they had to do things beyond their comfort zone to get the character or the scene right. The said scene was said to be an emotional one where he was supposed to look intoxicated and we hear that the actor decided to gulp down a few neat pegs of whisky before shooting for it. It is being said that the scene turned out to be well and director of the film Shashank Khaitan was all praises for the actor for pulling it off so well, courtesy the drinks the actor had before shooting. Varun Dhawan who confirmed about the same added that he required the drinks to get the desired effect for the scene and that he was indeed high for a while. Also, apparently the actor slept for an hour after the scene before getting into the grind of shooting other scenes for the film.

 

Varun Dhawan who will be seen with Alia Bhatt in Badrinath Ki Dulhania has been shooting extensively across Rajasthan in locations like Jaipur and Kota.
