UTV and Imtiaz Ali to remake Korean flick My Girlfriend Is An Agent

Until recently some of our filmmakers used to blatantly copy Hollywood and other foreign films. However, now it seems that bagging the official remake rights seems to be the order of the day. While we already have quite a few official remakes in the pipeline, UTV has gone ahead and acquired the remake rights of South Korean film My Girlfriend Is An Agent (MGIAA). The Hindi remake of this will be directed by choreographer Bosco (of Bosco-Caesar fame) while Imtiaz Ali and his wife Preety Ali will be on board as creative producer and co-producer respectively.

 

MGIAA is the story of two spies who have been assigned on a mission to stop a Russian crime group from stealing an advanced chemical weapon.
