'The Pathan'

After winning critical acclaim for his work in ALLAH KE BANDAY, director Faruk Kabir is ready to embark on his next venture -- THE PATHAN. If sources are to be believed, Faruk has signed Sunny Deol and Vivek Oberoi for the pivotal roles in his ambitious film. "Yes, I am starting THE PATHAN, but I haven't signed Sunny or Vivek. In fact, this is news to me. These names haven't even crossed our mind," Faruk asserts. So what's the true picture? "We are in talks with two lead actors for two separate roles. There's a third pivotal character -- the leading lady -- which will be finalized in due course," he divulges.

 

Imran Rashid and Faruk have jointly penned the script, which is already complete. Faruk plans to finalize the principal cast shortly.'The Pathan'
