SRK - Farah's Jubilee Bash

Silver jubilee [25 weeks] and golden jubilee [50 weeks] celebrations are a thing of the past, with most films not even completing a one-week run these days. So it doesn't come as a surprise when most actors and producers scream from rooftops even if their film manages to cross the 50-day mark [7 weeks] in these crisis-ridden times. So when MAIN HOON NA completed its 25-week meritorious run, it did call for a celebration. But, wait. Instead of throwing a lavish party for all and sundry, SRK and Farah Khan decided to have a sober, yet extravagant, celebration party on October 28 at Hyatt, Andheri. The guest-list was limited to all those associated to the super-successful film, with no outsider in sight. No media persons, no paparazzi, no electronic media were invited [they did gatecrash, but were requested to stay in the lobby]. SRK looked genuinely happy, mingling with friends and unit members alike. I am enjoying the phase thoroughly, the King Khan informs me, The success of the film is thanks to the team-effort and I felt it was time to share the joyous occasion with them. SRK has decided to take a break till January, after which he begins work on Karan Johar's new film. Farah was glowing with happiness. So were Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, Amrita Rao [drove from Pune - she's shooting for John Mathew Matthan's film], Boman Irani, Bindu, Satish Shah A classy get-together undoubtedly!
