Sadhana hospitalized, in a critical condition

Yesteryear actress Sadhana was admitted to K.J. Somaiya Hospital in Mumbai owing to her deteriorating health. She also underwent a nine hour surgery for mouth cancer at the Asian Institute of Oncology, conducted by Dr. Deepak Parikh.

From what we hear, the actress is currently critical post the surgery, since the internal bleeding hasn't stopped. However, Dr. Parikh refrained from divulging any details about the surgery or the actress' condition and firmly mentioned that the information is confidential and he would not reveal any details about his patients.

 

Sadhana gained fame in 60s and became the reigning queen of Bollywood during those years with films like Love in Shimla, Hum Dono, Mere Mehboob, Woh Kaun Thi, Rajkumar, Mera Saaya, Waqt among others. Though the actress remained aloof from the media glare, she was recently seen walking the ramp with Ranbir Kapoor at a recent fashion show which was an attempt to raise funds for cancer and AIDS patients.
