Even though one may see and enjoy films on the screen, the reality is far away from what it ‘appears’. In order to get one frame right, there are many workers and crew members who are instrumental. And when the film is as gigantic as Bahubali 2, the risk involved slightly becomes larger than usual.Do you know? Bahubali 2 had a staggering Rs. 200 crore insurance cover!

 

That’s why, ‘Future Generali Insurance Co’s policy had covered the risks of Bahubali 2, right from its pre-production to the post-production stages. The said insurance player covered the smash hit Bahubali 2 for over Rs.200 crore under its film package insurance product. As per a statement issued by ‘Future Generali’, the said policy insured Bahubali 2 against all the unforeseen incidents like death, illness of an actor or occurrence of natural calamities or accidental damage leading to delays in the film schedule. Additionally, it also included the coverage against accidents that damage equipment while shooting was in process.

 

Speaking about the same, K.G. Krishnamoorthy Rao (Managing Director and Chief Executive- Future Generali) said that in the year 2017 alone, they had issued 160 film insurance policies, of which most of them were in Bollywood. He added that they were now wanting to focus on the southern market as well, because they were confident of catering to the unique requirements of the film industry
