Kareena Kapoor Khan supports Aamir Khan on intolerance debate

Kareena Kapoor has now jumped in Aamir Khan's defence and said that he is justified with his stand on intolerance. At an event last year in November, Aamir spoke about growing intolerance in the country and how his wife thought of leaving the country. Though Aamir said in the immediate next sentence that it was a disastrous thing for her to say so, the superstar was heavily criticized by a section of aam junta.

Kareena, who has worked with Aamir in the past, made it clear that too much was made of Aamir's comment and that he just shared a conversation that he had with his wife. She also added that India is made up of highly emotional people and hence a section of people will always get angry or upset when someone comes up with a differing opinion.

 

The question that arises now is whether Kareena will be targeted for her views and for supporting Aamir Khan. Last year, her morphed image was used for a controversial 'anti-love jihad' campaign (since she has married a Muslim, actor Saif Ali Khan). Will she again be targeted and will her upcoming film Ki & Ka suffer any problems is what remains to be seen.
