Heroine' to be revived?

UTV and Madhur Bhandarkar's HEROINE is in news. After the project came to a grinding halt and UTV issued an official statement that they have decided to stop further filming of the film, there has been tremendous speculation about the progress of this project. There are murmurs that Madhur has decided to scrap the film altogether and start something afresh. But there's also talk that UTV and Madhur are in negotiations with several heroines for the principal lead.

 

However, it is learnt that UTV is keen to put HEROINE back on tracks, with a new leading lady of course. Both UTV have invested money and time on the project and are keen to start afresh, although, it must be clarified, they haven't signed anyone yet for the role in question. But, sooner or later, you may hear of UTV and Madhur making an official statement on HEROINE. Watch this space!Heroine' to be revived?
