Boney's big risk:

Boney Kapoor sprung another surprise for Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. The promos for the film are airing over the channels since Sunday even though the music is yet to be released. The film starring Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya is due for release on August 11. Boney is playing a huge gamble. Usually the producers flood the market with music cassettes of the films around 2 months in advance. This allows the music to be pushed through leading to better recall and popularity. Boney has refused to release the music until next 2 weeks leaving only 3 weeks for the music in the market before the release. It is known fact that music is a prime mover for a movie's success. By defying this reality, Boney is taking a huge risk not only with the film but also with Aishwarya's career. As is, the story-line of the film is 'jara hat ke'. The film depicts the trauma of rape victim and her journey back to stability. Defending himself, Boney said that since Anil Kapoor is not a very big draw for the film, he is not putting emphasis on the music as it would overshadow the film. Boney is confident that the music of the movie will grow on the masses like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander did after the film's success. Will his gamble pay off?
