Bawejas Devgan starrer inspired from I Am Sam

Just recently we informed you that Ajay Devgan is playing a mentally challenged character in his next film to be directed by Harry Baweja. And now the buzz is that the film is inspired from the Jessie Nelsons Hollywood flick I Am Sam where Sean Penn played the character of a mentally retarded man who fights for the custody of his 7-year-old daughter, and in the process teaches his cold-hearted lawyer the value of love and family. Sushmita Sen plays the lawyer in the Hindi version. The film is about the relationship between a handicapped father and his daughter when the mother runs away. Incidentally Bawejas last film Qayamat was also a remake of the Hollywood action flick The Rock.
