I was not a great fan of Alia Bhat's acting before the movie but she had proved me wrong big time with Dear Zindagi. The film has a very deep tone is its handling of a sensitive subject like mental well being. The film is not trying to preach a particular message instead asks the viewer to focus on introspection. Gauri has done a great job in her second outing. SRK has given a good calm and restrained performance as Dr Jehangir. The songs are pretty well laid out. Angad, Kunal and Ali had done a good job of carrying the story forward. However, the show belongs to Alia...she is the heart and soul of the movie.
