Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana has a special connection with Yash and Radhika Pandit’s family, as the film reportedly marked the first movie experience of their children, Ayra and Yatharv. The siblings watched the film at an early premiere in Los Angeles, making the occasion a personal milestone for the family.

Yash and Radhika’s children, Ayra, seven, and Yatharv, who turns seven on October 30, experienced cinema for the first time with the upcoming mythological epic. While details of their experience have not been shared publicly, the occasion carries an added significance given Yash’s involvement in the project. The actor plays Ravana in the film and is also associated with its production through his banner, Monster Mind Creations.
Yash and Radhika Pandit have previously spoken about their children's names
The occasion also brings attention to the meanings behind the children's names. Yash and Radhika have previously shared the thought behind choosing their names. Ayra draws inspiration from Airavathi, a name associated with Goddess Lakshmi, while Yatharv means 'complete'. The couple has also spoken about how Yatharv's name brings together elements of the names of Yash, Radhika and Ayra.
With Ramayana becoming their first movie experience, the film now has a personal association for the family beyond Yash's role in the adaptation. The actor will be seen portraying Ravana in the two-part cinematic adaptation of the epic.
Produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios and co-produced by Yash's Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana is scheduled to release on November 5.
