#MonochromeMonday: Kangana Ranaut is chic by the day and on fleek by the night!

As the quintessential outsider whose unapologetic statements, a sassy demeanour and a chicer than usual style play have charmed us endlessly, Kangana Ranaut is one hell of a diva to reckon with! When she is not engaging and astounding the audiences and critics alike with her stellar performances, the diva is seen engaging the fashion lovers and police alike by sprucing up the style vines. Up and about shooting for the period biopic, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi in Bikaner, Kangana regaled us with two regal looks from the sets last week. The weekend saw her go chic by the day and glamorous by the night. She was styled by Ekta Rajani who kept the minimal yet a stunning vibe going. Certainly not a trend hound, but someone who kickstarts trends (read: pairing her Birkin with a kasavu saree and brogues as one of her cool airport looks), Kangana Ranaut shot for an interview for A Dialogue with JC during the day with producer Kamal Jain and Jagdish Chandra, CEO, Zee Regional. Letting her hair down and partying hard for Grand Journey Cocktails at Narendra Bhavan, Bikaner, Kangana opted for a black dress and looked stunning AF.

With her signature curls (now blonde) swishing around and nailing some immaculate styles, the diva rarely gets it wrong. Getting into blissful summertime splendour with some bright hues, Kangana’s #OOTD was an instant mood lifter while her sultry black #OOTN set the ball rolling for #TGIF! Here is a closer look at her back-top-back looks.

Needless to say, we loved both her looks to the T. Style Cues to steal from Kangana Ranaut

While summertime splendour is all about dabbling in bright colours and balancing them out well with nude makeup, fuss-free party looks are all about adding one or two defining elements, just like Kangana did!

Kangana Ranaut is all set to turn tables with the epic biographical film, Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi essaying the titular role of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. The film is based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai and her war against the British East India Company, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857 scheduled for a release on in August 2018.
