The year 2018 will bring in many fresh pairs to the big screen. One of the newest pairs coming together will be Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. The film went on floor early January 2018 in Dharavi, Mumbai.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt along with Zoya Akhtar were seen shooting in Mumbai dressed in pretty casual looks. In the first leaked pictures, Alia Bhatt was dressed in a printed salwar suit with a hijaab. As Ranveer is playing a street rapper in the film, he was donning a pretty simple look with a tee, shirt and denim.

On the 10^th day of shooting on January 23, Zoya Akhtar shared a lovely black and white photo with her lead actor Ranveer Singh while the crew was busy setting up the camera. She captioned the image, “Day 10 #gullyboy #happygirl #shooting @ranveersingh @luiscasacubertaabril @arjun_varain Photo Courtesy: @ozajay.”

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy will bring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt on the big screen for the very first time. Although they have worked in a couple of ads for an e-com travel portal, this will be their first film together. This would be the second collaboration between Zoya and Ranveer after Dil Dhadakne Do.
