Amul pays emotional tribute to late Kader Khan

Veteran actor Kader Khan, who was known for his impressive comedic timing and excellent dialogue writing, bid adieu to the world on December 31 at the age of 81 after prolonged illness. Reportedly, the actor was suffering from progressive supranuclear palsy. The last rites of the actor were performed today, January 3rd in Canada in attendance of his family and close friends.

Keeping the actor’s excellent contribution to Indian cinema, Amul paid an emotional tribute to Kader Khan. Amul, often, talks about several aspects of the nation through their Amul Topical segment. The tagline reads, “Sab Kader Karte The Unki.” Taking to twitter, Amul’s twitter handle read, “#Amul Topical: Tribute to a fine film actor/screenwriter/comedian & director!”

Sarfaraz Khan, Kader Khan’s son, said that his father had a smile on his face when he passed away. He said that he cherishes that smile more than anything. Sarfaraz added that the final years of his father were quite painful for him due to his degenerative disease. They got him the best possible medical care in Toronto.

Bollywood celebrities and fans around the world mourned the loss of the legendary actor. He was buried at approximately 2:30 pm as per Canadian time at Meadowvale cemetery.

Kader Khan was not only one of the iconic actors in the Hindi film industry but also one of the finest writers as well. He had written dialogues for 250 films and had starred in over 300 films in his career. Some of his most memorable films including his debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s Daag, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Mr.Natwarlal among others. His first attempt at comedy was with Himmatwala and continued till the 90s with Aankhen, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Dulhe Raja, Coolie No.1, Aunty No.1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Raja Babu, Hero No 1, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi among many others.
