John Abraham starrer Batla House released on Thursday and after being in theatres for one week, the film has accumulated Rs. 62.06 crores at the box office. This is in line with the kind of expectations that one had from the film to begin with and it is good to see the manner in which it has sustained right from the time of its release.
The Nikkhil Advani directed dramatic thriller had collected Rs. 4.78 crores on Wednesday and on Thursday too the fall was controlled with Rs. 4.24 crores coming in. It would be interesting to see if the film manages to stay over the Rs. 4 crores mark on its last working day of the extended first week as well.
John Abraham can be assured that Batla House would eventually go past Rs. 90 crores before the close of run. Though the coming week is open, the week after arrives Saaho and that would gobble up a majority of screens. That said, Batla House is hit for sure and has added on to the biggies that have performed well in 2019.
