KGF 2 director Prashanth Neel and RRR star Jr NTR meet for ‘fresh beginnings’; fans await a ‘historical announcement’ : Bollywood News

KGF Chapter 2 and RRR have already established themselves as the most popular films of 2022, and it appears as though two of the key talents from both of these films are prepared to collaborate. Jr NTR of RRR has uploaded a few photographs on Instagram with KGF 2 director Prashanth Neel. The actor and director were joined on set by their spouses.

While Taarak stated in the caption of the photo that the two were celebrating their anniversaries on the same day, their hashtag read 'new beginnings,' and fans are anticipating an announcement about the two collaborating on a film. "When you share anniversaries, it's time to celebrate... #newbeginnings," Taarak captioned the image.

"I'm hoping for a timely historical announcement #jaintr," one admirer commented in the comments section. "Prashant sir + ntr garu = All-time blockbuster," commented another enthusiast.

Within a few days of their respective releases, KGF Chapter 2 and RRR both surpassed the Rs 1000 crore mark at the box office. Both films have become massive pan-India blockbusters, causing quite a stir in the Hindi film industry. KGF Chapter 2 has surpassed SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 as the second most grossing film in the Hindi belt.

Both KGF 2 and RRR received critical accolades for their larger-than-life spectacles, and if Prashanth and Taarak collaborate on a film, audiences can expect them to work their magic on the big screen.

According to Prashanth, KGF was not created with the intention of becoming a pan-India success. "When we began work on the film, we had no idea it would become this (massive) or that we would be here today. We did not begin with the intention of making it a pan-Indian film or even in two parts. We began as a Kannada film before deciding to split it in two and take it outside. Credit should be given to the producer and Yash. My goal was to establish a connection with people through the mother-son story,” he had said.
