Keerthy Suresh continues to garner acclaim for her performances, with her upcoming film Sathyavan Savithiri already generating positive buzz ahead of its release. The National Award-winning actress has impressed director Praveen S Vijay, who has praised her for bringing emotional authenticity and subtlety to the courtroom drama.
Speaking about Keerthy’s approach to her character, the director shared, “If you had become a lawyer instead of entering cinema, just be as natural as that, be yourself.” Emphasizing her growth as a performer, he further added, “I think Mahanati is her benchmark, and in this film, she has reached the next level. She delivers exactly the emotions required, in the right measure. She carries the entire film on her shoulders. From the beginning, her performance keeps rising scene by scene. She holds the emotional core of the film.”
The film, titled Sathyavan Savithiri, is expected to revolve around a gripping courtroom narrative. On May 1, the makers unveiled a new poster featuring Keerthy alongside actor Mysskin, who plays her senior advocate. Sharing the poster, the team captioned it, “The battle begins! One will break. One will rise. Second look of #SathyavanSavithiri is here!”, hinting at an intense legal drama.
The storyline is said to follow Keerthy’s character as a determined lawyer who stands firmly on the side of truth and justice. However, complications arise when she begins to question her senior’s stance in a case that appears morally ambiguous. As the narrative unfolds, unexpected revelations challenge her beliefs, leading to a conflict that forms the crux of the film.
Apart from Keerthy and Mysskin, the film features an ensemble cast including Heartbeat Charukesh, Balasaravanan, Madhusudhanan, Shilpa Manjunath, R Sundararajan, Brigida, Mala Parvathi, and A Venkatesh in key roles.
Written and directed by Praveen S Vijay, the film also boasts music by Sam C S, adding to the anticipation surrounding its release. With strong performances and a layered narrative at its core, Sathyavan Savithiri is shaping up to be one of Keerthy Suresh’s most compelling projects in recent times.
