Tabu has officially wrapped the first schedule of her upcoming untitled Telugu film, widely referred to as King100, which also marks her reunion with Nagarjuna Akkineni after nearly 28 years. The actress took to social media to share glimpses from the sets, offering fans a peek into the ongoing shoot.
Posting a series of selfies from her vanity van featuring members of the film’s team, Tabu confirmed the completion of the initial schedule. “End of Sched 1 #king100 #telugutravails”, read the caption, sparking excitement among fans eagerly awaiting updates on the project.

A few days prior to this, Tabu had hinted at the beginning of the film’s journey by sharing a photo of the clapperboard placed on a chair. “And we begin with the #King100 #Nagarjuna @annapurnastudios”, she had written, confirming her collaboration with the superstar and the production house.

Directed by RA Karthik and backed by Annapurna Studios, King100 is being positioned as a milestone project. While the makers have maintained tight secrecy around the film’s storyline and character details, reports suggest that Vijay Sethupathi will also feature in a pivotal role.
Welcoming Tabu on board, Annapurna Studios had earlier shared a heartfelt message that read, “A royal welcome to you @tabutiful garu It is an honor to have your grace on our sets! Tabu and Nagarjuna have previously collaborated on several films, including Ninne Pelladata, Aavida Maa Aavide, and Sisindri, making their on-screen reunion a notable highlight of this project.
On the Hindi film front, Tabu was last seen in Bhooth Bangla, where she featured alongside Akshay Kumar after more than two decades. The fantasy horror-comedy, directed by Priyadarshan, saw her in a brief yet significant role.
With its ensemble cast and the reunion factor, King100 continues to generate strong buzz as production progresses, with more details expected to be revealed in the coming months.
