Kamal Haasan gifts Suriya his Rolex after the success of Vikram : Bollywood News

Kamal Haasan is basking in the overwhelming response to his recently released film Vikram. Directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, the film has proven to be a massive hit among the audience as is evident from its stupendous run at the box office. The team of the film is clearly over the moon with the love that the film has been receiving. On Wednesday, Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj visited actor Suriya's residence in Chennai. Suriya had made an impactful cameo appearance in the film.

Kamal Haasan gifts Suriya his Rolex after the success of Vikram

On Tuesday, Haasan visited Suriya and gifted him his Rolex as a thank you for being a part of the film. Suriya played the antagonist named Rolex in the film. His character is the kingpin of a drug crime syndicate and is chased by Kamal Hasan's character Agent Arun Kumar Vikram in the movie.

For the sequel of Vikram, Suriya will be seen in a full-fledged role as he will face off with Haasan's character.

Vikram, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, was released in theaters worldwide on June 3. The film continues to roar down South whilst it is making good noise in the North belt as well. Kamal Haasan has also gifted his director a Lexus car and bikes to assistant directors of the film.

Looking at the response, Lokesh took to social media to thank fans for wholeheartedly accepting the film. Lokesh said he has no idea how he will repay the love of the fans. His tweet read, “I haven’t been this emotional ever. The acceptance u’ve showed #Vikram and me has been so overwhelming.I don’t know how i’m gonna repay you guys for all this love. Ever grateful to @ikamalhaasan sir and my amazing people. So moved. Love you all.”
