Being hailed as one of the most awaited films of the year, Kalki 2898 AD seems to have multiple grand announcements in the pipeline adding to the anticipation of audiences, who are eager to know more. After receiving an overwhelming response to the film’s earlier one-of-a-kind grand announcement, including the unique release date announcement and character unveilings, the makers of the upcoming sci-fi are now set to introduce its fifth hero in a never-seen-before epic launch event, scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on May 22, 2024.

Setting high expectations for the highly anticipated grand event, what makes this occasion even more special is the fact that Team Kalki 2898 AD will be especially travelling to Hyderabad for this extraordinary unveiling. While such elaborate launches are usually reserved for Pan-Indian films in the final week before release, the makers of the film are taking it a notch higher by hosting it five weeks in advance. Owing to keeping details under wraps, excitement for the fifth hero reveal launch is at an all-time high, with audiences eagerly awaiting what promises to be an extraordinary showcase.

Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD earlier introduced megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s character as Ashwatthama through a monumental projection at Nemawar, Narmada Ghat in Madhya Pradesh. The selection of Nemawar and Narmada Ghat for this occasion holds great significance as it is believed that Ashwatthama still walks the grounds of Narmada, heightening curiosity for both the film and the actor’s portrayal.

Kalki 2898 AD made waves after its groundbreaking debut at San Diego Comic-Con last year, garnering massive global acclaim. Featuring an ensemble star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles, the film is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. A multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future, the film hits the screens on June 27, 2024.
