FIRST LOOK: Raghava Lawrence starrer action thriller Rudhran to release on Christmas 2022 : Bollywood News

Choreographer turned actor Raghava Lawrence has been trending on social media for his latest avatar. Just a couple of hours ago, the makers unveiled the first look of the forthcoming action drama Rudhran. Needless to say, we can see Raghava in a powerful avatar and fans cannot stop raving about it. The makers have also announced the release date to be Christmas this year.

Rudhran, directed by Kathiresan, is expected to be a high-octane action thriller with some adrenaline pumping action sequences. A source close to the film revealed details of the film, saying, “The makers have finalized the title to be Rudhran and have finally locked the release date too. With the film’s first look out now, we can see that Raghava Lawrence appears quite intense in the poster. It is actually from a stunt sequence and as the poster suggests, the movie is going to be high on action. As for the shooting, 90% of it is done and soon the post production will kick start.” Raghava Lawrence took to Twitter to share the first look of the film and even added the title Rudhran in different languages.

The tagline of the film is 'Evil is not born, It is created' and keeping up with the theme, Lawrence’s look has been created as a menacing one where we can see him holding an axe-like weapon as he grabs a man by his head. He is surrounded by blood and body to add to the theme of action and gore.

Speaking about the cast, Sarath Kumar will be seen in a vital role and Priya Bhavani Shankar is the leading lady opposite Lawrence. Produced by Five Star Creations LLP, Kathiresan is the presenter of Rudhran. Besides them, the film also stars Poornima Bhagyaraj, and Nasser among others. GV Prakash Kumar has provided music for the movie whereas cinematography is by RD Rajasekar ISC. Editing is by Anthony wherein the stunts are choreographed by Siva – Vicky.
