The Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen starrer Malayalam film 19 (1)(a) is gearing up to hit the big screen soon. A film by Indhu VS, 19 (1)(a) has a unique subject and storyline and makers claim that is going to be different from all other mainstream movies.

The first poster of the film was recently released by the filmmakers. Vijay and Nithya, in the poster can be seen in a grim and intense look. Only half of the faces of both the actors are visible on the poster but the gravity of the film is quite evident. The audiences have been quite curious about the film after the poster release, wondering what’s in store for them when they watch the film.

Vijay has delivered massive hits recently and has gained a ton of appreciation for his power packed performances in his films. The fans are expecting a lot from the actor as he has set the bar high for himself too.

The actor took to his official Twitter handle to share the poster of his upcoming film. Have a look:

If reports are to be believed, the film’s plot will revolve around the Freedom of Speech and Expression, the fundamental right which is guaranteed by Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution. The film will also feature Indrajith Sukumaran and Indrans in prominent roles.

Vijay Sethupathi also has Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas in his lap. The actor will work along with Katrina Kaif and Sanjay Kapoor in the film. While Vijay is awaiting the release of his Maamanithan which was postponed due to numerous issues, he will also be seen in the upcoming Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s web series featuring Shahid Kapoor.
