From ‘Srivalli’ to ‘Peelings’, the chemistry of Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun has been one of the key factors behind the stupendous success of Pushpa as a franchise. Returning in a stronger avatar, Rashmika showcased another interesting side to her character in the actioner Pushpa 2 - The Rule. Apart from that, the actress couldn’t stop sharing about the song ‘Peelings’ which she mentioned was one of the last sequences to have been shot from the film in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama.
Rashmika Mandanna recalls how Allu Arjun sustained injuries on his hand
Rashmika Mandanna revealed that unlike other songs from the Pushpa franchise, ‘Peelings’ was shot within a span of only 4 to 5 days. Considering the immense pressure and intense rehearsals, the song was a tad bit challenging, but the actress credits her co-star Allu Arjun for making it a smooth ride. Recalling the moments from the song, the actress also opened up sustaining injuries and how Pushpa aka Arjun too was bleeding during one of the sequences. “I think one day we were doing some step and my bangles sort of hit his hand and he started bleeding. I felt so sad. I just pulled his hand, and I was like 'Sir, I've put a bandaid' and after that, I was just like staring at his hand. He was like 'It's okay, it happens, it's a dance'. But I'm like I don't want you to get hurt because of me, I don't wanna do this'.”
With Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist – IPS officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat and an ensemble supporting cast, the film is directed by Sukumar. With music composed by Rockstar DSP, the film released in cinemas worldwide in multiple languages on December 5. As of now, Pushpa 2 remains to be a record-breaking success at the box office with it enjoying a massive box office response across languages.
