Banita Sandhu, known for her performances in films like Varun Dhawan starrer October, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham, and Dhruv Vikram starrer Tamil movie Adithya Varma, is gearing up for an exhilarating new adventure with G2. In fact, the actress is expected to commence shooting for this Adivi Sesh starrer in Bhuj, Gujarat.
Sources close to the actress have confirmed the development but further details are currently being kept under wraps. Joining Banita in this exciting endeavor will also be her co-star Adivi Sesh, who is excited about returning to the Goodachari franchise with G2 world. We hear that the two actors share a great camaraderie which will bring an extra dimension to the sequel, enhancing the overall experience.
In an earlier statement, Banita Sandhu had expressed her excitement about joining the project and said, "This is my first Pan-India film and I’m so excited to collaborate with such an incredible, visionary team. It is a role unlike anything I’ve ever done before, and I can’t wait for audiences to see me in a completely fresh avatar. Working on this movie will be a creative delight for me."
As shooting commences in Bhuj, Gujarat, anticipation for G2 continues to soar, with fans eagerly awaiting updates and glimpses from behind the scenes. The high-octane action drama enjoyed much love from the audience when it released in 2018, now six years later, the sequel too promises to push boundaries and deliver an unforgettable and edge-of-the-seat cinematic experience to the audiences. The film will feature Adivi Sesh in the role of an agent along with adrenaline-pumping stunts.
Interestingly, G2 marks Banita's first pan-India project, and is set to be released in multiple languages, showcasing her versatility to audiences nationwide.
