Devara trailer launch: Karan Johar hints at collaboration with Jr NTR in near future; reveals that his son Yash and Saif Ali Khan’s son Taimur are BFFs : Bollywood News

The much awaited trailer of Devara Part – 1 was launched at a five star hotel in Mumbai in the presence of actors Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor along with director Koratala Siva, presenters Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Anil Thadani. Karan Johar gave an interesting introduction speech wherein he talked about his son Yash Karan Johar and also hinted at a possible collaboration with Jr NTR aka Tarak in the near future.

Karan Johar began by saying, “This is an exceptional moment for us at Dharma Productions and AA Films.”

He then praised “Tarak and Koratala Siva’s vision. You have to see what’s going to unfold right now.”

KJo continued, “Tarak was very gracious when he presented Brahmastra (2022) in Hyderabad. It was a big moment for us to see such a massive mega star going out of his way to speak about another film. He really impacted the box office collections of Brahmastra in the South. For that, we are grateful to him.”

Karan further said, “His next (Devara Part – 1) was one of the most awaited films of Indian cinema. We were only too happy, proud and privileged to the magic, the madness, the magnitude and magnificence of Devara in Hindi.”

Karan Johar then gave a hint that he might be working soon with Jr NTR, “There are a lot of friends attached to this journey. Tarak is a dear, dear, dear friend. I told him that this is not the end of this relationship. It’s a beginning of a new one. He knows what I am talking about!”

He then praised Saif Ali Khan, “I love and adore my darling Saif as a filmmaker, friend, family. He is exceptional in the film. Our kids playing with each other makes my heart overwhelmed with love. The fact that Yash and Taimur are BFFs (best friends forever) in school means the world to me! It is a legacy friendship which will go on.”

Finally, he spoke with pride about Janhvi Kapoor who he launched in Dhadak (2018), “Janhvi is looking as gorgeous as ever. I still remember the moment when Tarak mentioned about casting Janhvi in Devara. I felt like a proud papa. Look at her! She gave it her absolute best.”

Devara Part – 1 releases in cinemas on September 27.
