Ever since its announcement, Devara: Part 1 has been one of the most anticipated films of the year and there are multiple reasons for this. Apart from the fact that it marks the return of Jr NTR in theatres after over two years, the film also marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. After several glimpses of the film were unveiled over the past few months, now audiences can’t wait to see what the trailer has in store for them. Finally the curtains have opened and the trailer has been unveiled!

The trailer, as promised, ensures that the audiences are taken on a thrill ride of action, drama, and romance while we get to witness the intense chemistry of Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor for the first time along with Saif Ali Khan being presented in a different avatar. The trailer takes us deeper into this world of war and vengeance but with a serene backdrop of the ocean and sea. The trailer also showcases an interesting twist as it presents Jr NTR in a double role.

For the unversed, Devara will be releasing in two parts. Directed by Kortala Siva, the film also boasts of an ensemble supporting cast comprising of Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Abhimanyu Singh, Murali Sharma among others. With music composed by the famous Anirudh Ravichander, the recently released tracks too have received much appreciation from the audience. With cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, film editor A. Sreekar Prasad, stunt choreographer Kenny Bate, and an extensive team working on the visual effects, the film promises to take the audience on a thrill ride.

Devara: Part 1 is a high-octane action thriller and is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts whereas, the film is presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. It is slated to hit cinemas on September 27 in not only Telugu but also Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. However, details of part two continues to stay under wraps.
